Aged 44, Fabrice Delaye starts journalism in 1991 after graduating from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris. After free lancing for various Swiss and French newspapers like L’Agefi, Le Figaro and Le Monde, he joined magazine L’Hebdo staff in 1994 and started focusing about economy, technology and science. From 1996 to 1999, he served as staff technology reporter for magazine Bilan in Switzerland. In 1999, he went back to University and graduate with a Master in Society, Science and Technology in Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne. He also joined daily Swiss economic newspaper L’agefi where he serves as a US correspondent in Boston from 2001 to 2004 and then as European correspondent in Paris. Paul Shadwell has had a long relationship with IT going back over 30 years. Working in companies with many diverse disciplines from electronic engineering through pharmaceutical and financial. Working with small start-up business to large global enterprises. mobile computing has been a passion and a challenge for many years and only now is it becoming possible to be truly mobile. Mr Shadwell has a deep knowledge of networking systems from the early days of Novell NetWare to the first small networks of bulletin boards and of course the Internet. He now specialises in virtual infrastructure solutions and is a keen advocate of cloud computing and mobilisation of the workforce. As an entrepreneur he is evangelising the use of small portable devices for use in day to day business and sees the iPhone as a major leap into an exciting future. Adrian Kosmaczewski has been writing software for the past 20 years. He started working professionally in 1996, riding the first and second waves of the web, right from the inside. He has written software for the web, as well as desktop applications for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux. Adrian started writing Cocoa applications for the Mac in 2002, and has been creating iPhone software since he returned from the last WWDC in June. When not writing software, Adrian keeps an eye on politics, economics, progressive rock and updates his blog as often as possible. Adrian has studied physics in Switzerland and economics in Buenos Aires, and holds a Master in Information Technology with a specialization in Software Engineering from the University of Liverpool. |

Nicolas Seriot has been an enthusiastic Mac user since 1986. He is now working as a software engineer at Sen:te, a long time Cocoa/Objective-C specialized software company. Nicolas developed an iPhone application for a customer in the banking industry and an iPhone course for engineers. He also worked on several Mac OS X applications and embedded projects such as smart-card readers for digital TV. In his spare time, he likes writing free software. He is also very interested in world events, international relations and the new paradigms brought on by the data driven society. Nicolas Seriot holds an HES degree in software engineering.
